§ 01Our Commitment
Dunamis Worship Center International is committed to making our digital ministry accessible to every person, regardless of ability or assistive technology. We believe that the message of the Gospel is for everyone, and that the people of God should not be locked out of worship, teaching, prayer, or community because of how a website is built.
This Accessibility Statement describes our standards, the steps we have taken to meet them, the limitations we are aware of, and how to reach us if you encounter a barrier so that we can address it.
§ 02Standards We Follow
Our goal is for the Platform to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). WCAG 2.1 AA is the most widely recognized standard for digital accessibility, and is the benchmark referenced by U.S. federal accessibility regulations and by many international laws.
Where reasonable, we go beyond AA conformance to incorporate Level AAA practices, particularly for content that serves pastoral, educational, or care purposes.
§ 03Accessibility Features
The Platform has been designed and built with the following accessibility features:
- Semantic structure. Pages use proper heading hierarchy, landmarks, and ARIA roles to support screen-reader navigation.
- Keyboard navigation. All interactive elements (links, buttons, form fields, dropdowns, accordions) are reachable and operable using only the keyboard.
- Visible focus indicators. A clearly visible focus ring follows keyboard navigation through the page.
- Color contrast. Body text, headings, and interactive elements meet or exceed the WCAG 2.1 AA contrast thresholds against their background.
- Resizable text. The Platform supports text-resizing up to 200% in your browser without loss of content or function.
- Alternative text. Meaningful images carry descriptive alternative text. Decorative imagery is marked so that assistive technology can skip it.
- Captions and transcripts. Sermon recordings and other long-form video are accompanied by captions, and full transcripts are made available for our sermon archive.
- Predictable behavior. Navigation patterns and naming are consistent across pages so that members can build a reliable mental model of the Platform.
- Form labeling. Form fields have visible labels and accessible names; required fields and validation errors are programmatically associated with their input.
- Motion preferences. Animations and parallax effects respect the “reduce motion” preference exposed by your operating system.
§ 04Known Limitations
Despite our best efforts, some areas of the Platform may still present accessibility barriers. We are aware of, and are actively working on, the following:
- Embedded third-party content. Video and audio players, livestream embeds, calendar widgets, and payment-processor checkout forms are provided by third parties and may not fully meet our internal accessibility standard. We monitor these vendors and advocate for improvements.
- Older sermon archive. Some legacy sermon recordings predate our captioning practice. We are working through the archive to add captions and transcripts.
- Newly published content. New articles, event listings, and Member Content are occasionally published before alternative text or other accessibility metadata have been reviewed. We aim to remediate within a few business days.
- Complex data tables. Where complex tables are unavoidable, we provide a textual summary; we are working to add programmatic relationships (caption, scope) consistently.
If you encounter a barrier not listed above, we want to hear from you so that we can address it.
§ 05Ongoing Improvements
Accessibility is not a project with a completion date; it is a permanent commitment. Our ongoing work includes:
- Periodic accessibility audits (manual and automated) of high-traffic pages;
- Training for editors, ministry leaders, and volunteers who contribute content;
- Reviewing every new feature against accessibility requirements before it is released;
- Listening to feedback from members who rely on assistive technologies and treating their input as the most important measure of how we are doing.
§ 06How to Report an Issue or Request Assistance
If you encounter a barrier on the Platform, or if you would like assistance accessing any content or service, please reach out to us. We will do our best to respond within five (5) business days and to provide the information or service you need in an accessible alternative format while we work on a permanent fix.

When you write to us, please include a description of the page or feature where you encountered the issue, the assistive technology or browser you were using, and what you were trying to do. This helps us reproduce and resolve the issue quickly.
§ 07In-Person Accessibility
This Statement focuses on the digital ministry, but accessibility is just as important to our gathered worship. At our physical locations and at the events we host, we strive to provide:
- Step-free access to the sanctuary, fellowship areas, restrooms, and pastoral-care offices, with assistance available on request;
- Reserved seating for wheelchair users and companions, and additional seating with extra space for guests who use mobility aids;
- Assistive listening for hearing-impaired members at the main service through dedicated devices or compatible hearing-loop technology, where installed;
- Large-print bulletins and lyric sheets on request;
- A sensory-friendly room with audio of the main service, suitable for parents with young children and for members who benefit from a quieter environment;
- Sign-language interpretation arranged on advance request for funerals, weddings, baptisms, and other significant services;
- Service-animal welcome. Trained service animals are welcomed at every service and event.
To request any of the accommodations above — or to discuss an accommodation not listed — please contact our ministry team at least one week in advance where possible.
§ 08Captioning and Transcripts
We caption and transcribe our teaching content so that members who are Deaf or hard of hearing, members for whom English is a second language, and members who simply prefer to read can fully participate.
- Live services are streamed with automated captioning. We are working toward human-quality live captioning for our Sunday services.
- Sermon recordings published to the Platform include captions reviewed by our media team. The accuracy target is 99% on words and 95% on punctuation.
- Transcripts of recent sermons are downloadable from the sermon detail page. Older sermons are being transcribed in chronological order, with most-watched sermons prioritized.
- Podcasts and audio devotionals include show notes summarizing key points; full transcripts are added as our editorial capacity grows.
§ 09Mobile and Assistive-Technology Compatibility
The Platform is built mobile-first and is regularly tested on a representative range of devices, browsers, and assistive technologies, including:
- Screen readers (NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver on macOS and iOS, TalkBack on Android);
- Voice-control software (Voice Control on macOS and iOS, Voice Access on Android);
- Screen magnifiers and high-contrast modes provided by major operating systems;
- Switch-access devices.
If your assistive technology is not behaving as expected, please tell us so that we can investigate and document a workaround while we work on a fix.
§ 10Formal Complaints
We encourage you to contact us first so that we can work toward a resolution together. If you wish to file a formal complaint, you may do so with the appropriate authority in your jurisdiction. In the United States, complaints regarding digital accessibility may be made under the Americans with Disabilities Act and related state laws. We will cooperate in good faith with any such proceeding and will continue to engage with you directly to resolve the underlying issue.
