What we do.
The Worship Ministry of Dunamis exists to facilitate corporate encounter with God through music and song. We are not entertainers, and we are not a band. We are pastors of the room — and our work is to lead a congregation into the presence of their King.
Every Sunday and every Wednesday, the team gathers to rehearse not just songs but a posture. The notes matter; the spirit matters more. We rehearse in the place of prayer first, and only then in the place of music — because what flows out on Sunday morning is what we cultivated all week in worship behind the curtain.
Our heart
We believe that worship is not a warm-up to the sermon. Worship is its own ministry — the high priestly work of the church gathered to lift the name of Jesus together. When we sing well, the room is changed. When we sing well over a long arc, the people are changed. And when both happen at once, the supernatural arrives.
The team is shaped by years of formation under Pastor Vinnette, who carries the worship of the house with a quiet authority. The standard is high; the welcome is wider than the standard. We are looking for hearts before voices, and obedience before talent.
